UK NMC Registration Process
Now you can sit your CBT or OSCE in any order and continue with your application for the initial UK NMC registration process.
The following are the step by step descriptions of the UK NMC registration process:
- Firstly, Account creation.
Provide basic details exactly as in your passport.
The NMC will take about 35 days to complete the process of the initial assessment.
As a result, on successful completion of the Qualification verification, you will receive an invitation to sit for a Test of Competence (CBT and OSCE).
Once you have the invitation for the test of competence, you can go ahead with the exams and with the second stage of the NMC application.
You will book the LEVEL 1 test of competence. i.e. CBT (Computer-based test), which can be booked and appeared from any part of the world.
Pearson VUE conducts CBT exam and they will send you an invitation email to schedule your test after the initial verification from NMC. The cost will be £83.
After that, In the second stage of application, the candidates need to provide: police clearance certificate, language criteria details, medical practitioner details, and current nursing council details
